corrected by the dates given to reduce their severity when considered by the Mined Land Reclamation oard. The inspector noted
on the previous page should be notified of all corrective actions taken.
PROBLEMS/POSSIBLE VIOLATIONS
AND
CORRECTIVE ACTIONS
The operator has allowed the site to become contaminated by fuel and oil,
through improper handling and storage, possibly with adverse affects to
the hydrologic balance.
The operator must remove from the site all containers (drums, barrels,
buckets, even tanksV containing petroleum products unless they are placed
immediately in a location providing adequate secondary containment Isuch
as a bermed, lined structure of a size to contain the entire volume of the
materials stored therel. This must be done immediately due to the nature
of the present and potential problem, and the evidence of completing this
action must be sent to this Division by the date shown.
2. The operator has not secured the right to enter upon BLM land, though
the operator continues to use a road on BLM land to access a part of the
permit area.
The operator must either cease using this road or secure the right to
enter this property, by following the appropriate BLM rules. A statement
declaring which option is chosen, plus any corresponding documentation to/from
the BLM, must be sent to this office by the date shown.
