III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during <br />the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the <br />facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a partial inspection of the Edna Mine conducted by Tom Kaldenbach of the Colorado Division of <br />Minerals and Geology. No one else was present. The site was dry and fully accessible. <br />HYdrolo~2ic Balance <br />The Trout Creek sandstone monitoring well was in good repair , with a cap in place on the surface <br />casing. <br />SuDaort Facilities <br />No problems were found in the Oak Creek facilities area. <br />Reveaetation <br />Topsoiled areas in EI/2 Section 24 and Wl/2 Section 19. These areas have a fairly dense cover of <br />alfalfa, yellow sweet clover, and a variety of grasses. Weeds are under control. <br />Slides and Dama¢e <br />Moffat area -Repair work has begun on the gully located along the southern mazgin of the reclaimed <br />Moffat area. It is not certain if the gully is in the pre-law area, or in the reclaimed area. <br />3 <br />
