ORIGINAL -PUBLIC FILE <br />(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: M-~ aan_~ea <br />INSPECTION DATE: ~/~6/nd INSPECTOROS INITIALS: ~~ <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />The Division conducted a monitoring inspection of the site on 2/27/04. <br />Present during the inspection were Phil Barnes and Mark Tidquist of CC&V. <br />Inspected the Main and East Cresson pit area. Both pits were not active at <br />the time of the inspection. The north side of the East Cresson pit back <br />filling as approved in Amendment # 8 is continuing, no major problem noted. <br />Inspected the # 3 and #4 pad areas, detoxified spent ore as approved by <br />CDOH&E is still being utilized with in the permit area, as needed. <br />Inspected the Phase I, II, III AND IV, PREGNANT SOLUTION COLLECTION AREAS <br />AND RECORDED THE FOLLOWING READINGS FROM THE HIGH AND LOW VOLUME SOLUTION <br />COLLECTION TRANSDUCERS. <br />PHASE I HIGH VOLUME SOLUTION COLLECTION TRANSDUCER # 1 WAS RECORDED AT 51.6 <br /># 2 WAS AT 56.1 AND # 3 WAS AT 53.S.LOW VOLUME TRANSDUCER # 1 WAS AT .24 AN <br />#2 WAS AT .39. PIEZOMETER WAS RECORDED AT 53.5 FEET. <br />PHASE II HIGH VOLUME SOLUTION COLLECTION TRANSDUCER # 4 WAS RECORDED AT <br />39.1 #5 WAS AT 41.2 AND #6 WAS AT 40.1. LOW VOLUME TANSDUCER # 1 WAS AT .14 <br />AND # 2 WAS AT .31. PIEZOMETER FOR THE POND WAS AT41.4 FEET. CC&V <br />PHASE IV HIGH VOLUME SOLUTION COLLECTION TRANSDUCER # 7 WAS RECORDED AT <br />14.4 #8 WAS AT 14.4, #9 WAS AT14.5 AND # 10 WAS AT 14.9. (ALL TRANSDUCER <br />READINGS UNLESS NOTED OTHER WISE, ARE IN FEET OF HYDROSTATIC HEAD.LOW <br />VOLUME SOLUTION COLLECTION TRANSDUCER # 1 WAS RECORDED AT 9.7 AND # 2 WAS <br />AT 9.6 INCHES OF HYDROSTATIC HEAD. <br />Inspected the external pond, it was holding what appeared to be a small <br />amount of frozen water. While in the area, recorded the following readings <br />from the low volume solution collection transducers.
