TOPSOIL <br />Topsoil storage piles were covered with snow. <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE <br />The operation is incompliance with the general mine plan. Longwall mining had reached Station 65+00 in the <br />18 Right panel. The continuous miner has reached Station 145+00 in the 19R Gateway. The 20R tailgate is at <br />45+00. <br />Low quality coal was being processed in the wash plant, and coal mine waste was being hauled to the waste <br />disposal azea. <br />Coal was being shipped by truck and by rail. <br />REVEGETATION <br />Long-term mining disturbed areas require eventual revegetation in the reclamation plan. <br />SUBSIDENCE <br />Snow cover inhibited observation of any effects of subsidence. <br />EXCESS SPOIL & DEVELOPMENT WASTE <br />Materials excavated during driving of the 18-Right Ventilation Shaft had been placed in the impoundment <br />excavated for that purpose, and the impoundment has been closed over. The excavated material is in long <br />term, storage, and is to be unearthed and used to fill the shaft when closed. The impoundment for 6 North <br />Mains Ventilation Shaft excavated materials is neazly full. <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS <br />There has been no reclamation bond releases processed at the Foide] Mine site. <br />DOCUMENTS RECEIVED <br />The Operator's copy of Volume 1 of the Permit Application Package (PAP) was compazed to the Division's <br />copy. Sixty-nine pages did not match. The Division received 25 pages from the Operator that had dates more <br />current than those in the Division's copy. Copies of pages in the Division's copy that were more current than <br />those in the Operator's copy were provided to the Operator.
