1_ <br />1 <br />:, <br />III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was an aerial inspection of the New Pryor Mine for the month of July, 1997. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE: The site has not received very much rain since June and the <br />vegetation is dry. The upper pond has a small amount of water in it but was not discharging. <br />The drainage ditches are stable and unless a severe thunderstorm occurs, they should remain so. <br />SUBSIDENCE: Old underground workings have colasped and sink holes are developing and may <br />need some maintenance work done on them for safety reasons. These sinkholes will be <br />inspected in August. <br />
