This was a complete inspection conducted by Kent Gorham of the Colorado Division of
Minerals and Geology. The Rimrock Mine consists of approximately seven acres of
reclamation. The 2005 growing season will be the twelfth j12) growing season after reseeding.
The ground was soft and damp in places due to recent precipitation The weather on this day
was clear and cool.
Availability of Records
The public copy of the mine records is kept at the office of the Las Animas County Planner at
the county courthouse located in Trinidad. All required records were found current and in
compliance. The results of this records check can be found on page 2a of this report.
Hydrologic Balance
The sediment pond at the site
was dry. The embankment and
