The temporary waste pile is over 1.14 acr.a of disturbance as outlined in the original <br />application. <br />2. 't'I~~• temporary waste pile is not located as portrayed on the Exhibit C tap and is spilling <br />into Ralston Creek. This pile may have an adverse aFfect on H~0 quality and Historical <br />flood patterns. <br />3. The cutoff for uranium ore content is currently .07 percent rather than the: .015 percent <br />outlined in the application. <br />4. Nn attempt was made to salvage the topsoil prior to creating the waltz dump. The salvage <br />of topsoil was not required for permitted activities. <br />5. A t` acre gravel pit was opened just north of the temporary waste dump, imnediately <br />adjacent to Ralston Creek - no topsoil was salvaged. <br />6. The old waste Rock dump has nut been used for at ]east 1 year and Che road leading to the <br />top has washed out. <br />7. The new wafer CreaCmenC building has been constructed. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />1. Major changes have occured on this site without prior board approval The operator should <br />amend the original app]:icaLion to reflect the current activities and state of disturbance <br />2. Pease explain why the operator has r~eviated from the original plan. <br />3.
