Signs and boundary markers were in place as required by the Rules.
2. Adequate topsoil has been stored at the site to complete reclamation, and it has been
revegetated. Overburden piles are also adequate for backfillinq the face of the excavation,
and shoring up the sides of the excavation. Reclamation is taking place concurrent with
mining, with some areas already backfilled, and one area backfilled, topsoiled and
revegetated, and appears to be stable. Sandstone ie being used to fill former underground
excavations where clay seams were removed. It is estimated that about ten acres are
currently disturbed, with 3-4 acres in the process of reclamation.
3. The storage stages - topsoil, overburden, then the face of the dig - are placed for easy
backfillinq. Highwalls range from 10' to 40' high. Staining will occur to make the exposed
rock Lees noticeable (this ie not required by the permit).
4. Adequate bond exists to complete reclamation at this time.
No problems exist at this site.
I 6 E Contact Address
NAME Michael Leidich
OPERATOR Robinson Brick Co.
STREET P.O.
