Present during the sample collection were Tim Comer
and Lawrence Meyers, of CC&V. Both the North and South Under drains were dry. An 8 ounce sample was
collected for cyanide analyses, from AG #1 OR COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE 4 "SPRING PIPE, using
preserved bottles from CDOH&E. Operator was offered a split, but collected their own sample. Field
Parameters were as follows:
PH 4.16
TEMPREATURE - 2.7 C
CONDUCTIVITY - 1342
DISSOLVED OXYGEN - 9.5
The collected sample was delivered to CDOH&E LAB.
While in the area, collected the following readings from the Phase I LOW VOLUME SOLUTION COLLECTION
TRANSDUCERS AND PHASE II HIGH AND LOW VOLUME SOLUTION COLLECTION TRANSDUCERS.
Phase I low volume solution collection transducer # 1 was recorded at .30 and . # 2 was at .29
Phase II LOW VOLUME SOLUTION COLLECTION TRANSDUCER # 1 WAS AT .54 AND # 2 WAS AT .19
Phase II high volume solution collection transducer # 4 was at 24.3 #S was at 24.3 and # 6 was at 24.3
All readings are in feet of hydrostatic head.
Inspected the Phase IV (b) and (c) PSSA and leach pad areas. Due to the cold weather only minor liner
repair activity was taking place. Golder QA/QC personnel, Gregory Mcquaid, stated that, until the weather
warms up, that is the only activity anticipated in the area.
