III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during <br />the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the <br />facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a partial inspection conducted by Tom Kaldenbach of the Colorado Division of Minerals and <br />Geology. No one else was present. The ground was dry. <br />ROADS: Roads along the west and southeast perimeter of Mining Area No. 1 were in good shape. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE: Pond A contained a small pool of muddy water. Pond B was dry. <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS: Vegetative cover was in good shape in the reclaimed area. No <br />problems were found on the site. <br />
