A pre-operation inspection was made of the proposed Regular 112 Operation known as "North <br />La POUdre". Present during the inspection was Mr. Jeff Gregg of Hall-Irwin Corporation. <br />2. The applicant has submitted an application for a total of 38 permitted acres. Dry mining <br />methods will be used to excavate into pastureland and create two (2) undlined lakes, each <br />10-12 acres in size, that will be reclaimed to private recreation. The operator will install <br />a dewatering trench around the mining area and pump the exposed groundwater to a pond at the <br />adjacent La Poudre site. <br />3. Significant, valuable, or permanent man-made structures noted include a gasline, an <br />electrical substation, and a farmhouse w/ adjoining barn and corrals.
