downspout is plugged and dislocated, so dischazge is down the shotcrete riprap exit channel off <br />the road embankment to the road culvert. Picture #21 shows the primary spillway discharge <br />entering the road culvert, the dislodged downspout, and debris cleared from the culvert and ditch. <br />Pictwe #22, N200°E, shows the dislodged downspout, discharge, and a portion of the cleared <br />ditch. Pictwe #23 is of the same area, looking the other direction. Picture #24, N 185 °E is of <br />mud stains on the highway indicating the apparent southern-most extent of the flow over the <br />highway, as is Picture #25. Picture #26, NS °E, is of the head of the irrigation ditch opposite the <br />emergency spillway road culvert, downstream of the discharge from the emergency spillway and <br />upstream from the primary spillway. Pictwe #27, N105°E is of siltation in the field opposite the <br />sazne point. Pictures #28 and #29, N10°E, show debris on the east (down-side) of the road. <br />Pictwe #30, looking south, indicates the apparent northern extent of the flow over the highway. <br />The people in the photograph aze standing approximately directly across from the primary <br />spillway. <br />Pictwes #31 through #33 were taken on 23 September 1997. Pictwe #31, N30°, is of the erosion <br />cut in the road fill (on the left) and sediment outwash (on the right). Pictwe #32, N105°E, is of <br />flows into the East Pit. Picture #33, N90°E, is of the recent berm built to duect all flows off the <br />bench into the East Pit. <br />
