I <br />r~ )- <br />III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a partial inspection of the Carbon Junction Mine for the month of January, 1996. <br />The site is covered with approximately 12" of snow. <br />Slopes under the snow appear to be stable. <br />Pond l12 is near dry. <br />Deer have been feeding on the slopes around pond JJ2. <br />The mutual use area, with the on-site gravel pit, appears to be in order with all hazardous <br />materials properly stored in containment areas. <br />
