Since the last inspection a succession of operators has taken place ,from Bar 70 <br />Enterprises, Inc. to United Companies of Mesa County Inc. At the time of the succession the Financial Warranty Bond was <br />increased from $20,000.00 to $32,000.00. Based on the conditions observed at the site during this inspection that amount of <br />bond appears to be adequate. <br />The pit is currently active with several large stockpiles of material on the site. The majority of the permit area has been <br />mined ,the operator may consider expanding the pit.
