III. COMMENTS • COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during the inspection. Comments <br />also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the facts of evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />The permit boundary encloses 8.9 acres. These acres consist of four sepazate pazcels (003of 1.62 acres; <br />HG-8 of 5.13 acres; E of 1.03 acres; and Slump of 1.14 acres). The first three are designated as shrub <br />azeas, and the last a reclaimed slide area. <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS <br />During the last inspection, the insurance certificate on file had an incorrect cancellation notice. Records at <br />the offices ofHydro-Environmental Solutions, Inc. were not checked during this inspection. However; <br />corrected insurance certificates have been received at the Division of Minerals and Geology offices in <br />Denver. <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS <br />Mine identification signs have been revised to include the telephone number of the operator. Mine permit <br />boundary signs and mazkers were in place. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE <br />The only hydrologic features within the permit area are underdrains and piezometers of the slide azea. <br />Discharge points from underdrains were covered with snow. No surface flows were observed. <br />FISH AND WILDLIFE <br />Elk fencing about the shrub sites was in good repair.
