south. Appazently some of the flow continues northwest, where it enters the roadside ditch. Coarse rip <br />rap has been placed in piles in the ditch from that point down. <br />Fish/Wildlife: Ground squirrels and songbirds were everywhere. A lone antelope and a mule deer doe <br />were spotted on the hill. Two additional antelope were spooked feeding in the draw in the southeast <br />corner of the site. There is extensive active rodent burrowing on the East perimeter road berm. <br />Revegetation: The bottom of [he natural arroyo in the northwest comer is densely vegetated with <br />sagebrush. Directly adjacent in the reclaimed azea, grasses are [hick. Grass is nowjust beginning to <br />dry out and turn brown. Thistle has been sprayed since the last inspection on July I. The patch <br />halfway along the NoRh perimeter has been eliminated. The patch along the east perimeter road <br />adjacent to the gate has been sprayed, but new plants have sprouted since the spraying. The thistle <br />patch south of the gate has been eradicated, as have the patches in the area of the gravel pad and on the <br />2-track road leading east from the pad. There is extensive sagebrush and rabbitbrush growing up on the <br />bed of the south perimeter road. <br />
