III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE
Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during the
inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection and the facts or evidence
supporting the enforcement action.
This was a partial inspection of the Blue Flame Mine conducted by Tom Kaldenbach of the Colorado Division of
Minerals and Geology. No one else was present. Prior to May 2004 DMG had last conducted reclamation on
this site in May 1993. [n May 2004, DMG had a subsidence feature at the top ofthe portal area regraded and a
diversion ditch was excavated around the regraded area. The ground was dry during this inspection. No changes
were found on the site from the previous month's inspection.
HYDROLOGIC BALANCE
There are no ponds or ditches on the site. No off-site hydrologic impacts were apparent in Hay Gulch downhill
from the disturbed area.
REVEGETATION
With the exception of the newly regraded area, revegetated areas appear in good shape.
