A raptor guard had <br />been instated (rep~ced) on the transformer pde at the Narthem Number 1 support facilities site <br />(trailer office area)'. Frye slope stability moratorirrg monuments were observed and occupied (caps <br />rertroved on two to tbmfirm their iderlttty). These items stile require removal'. All scare-~x~ow frames <br />had been removed at the Northam Number 1 and Disposal Area sites'. Stone miscellaneous debris <br />(final poking) was stil in the vidrlity of the permanent ir~pordndrnents at the Rfenau Number 2 site. <br />The sedian ai broken cuhrert was trot observed. However, the mardrole ring and twver, gate valve <br />and stem, and pole with cornxete ba0 had trot been poiced from the site'. <br />' Lanyard Thayer (resident and lessee of Jensen Ranch) came out to meet Byron Welker, CDMG, <br />during the inspection. Mr. Thayer stated that he had instated the raptor guard and and removed aA <br />the scare-crow frames as requested by Ntr. Greg Lewidd. <br />' AS was discussed by telephone on October 27, 1997 (Lewidd - Wakter), these mornmlents are to <br />be removed in accordance with the redamaton plan (puked or art oft below ground level), and a <br />vegetative plug placed over the baddited hole. In addtion, to assist in conflmlation inspections of <br />the rccfarrraticn work, a stave (appro>dmately 3 feet brrg) with flagging wit merit the reclaimed <br />montenent location. Fsron is to certify to CDMG that the work has been completed so that CDMG <br />can schedlrie a confirmation inspection. <br />' Fnal policing is a prerequisite for bond release. An atemative to this requirement could be a letter <br />from the land owner(s) that the items are their property, and that they wish the items to remain in <br />place. <br />
