Present at the inspection was Kate Pickford, DMG. Although numerous attempts were made to <br />contact the Operator directly, only phone messages were left and a time to meet at the site was never <br />arranged. Weather at the time of the inspection was cloudy, windy, and approximately 50 degrees. <br />2. A sign and markers are posted at the site. Although the permit indicates that a plant may be constructed <br />on the western portion of the site, not plant is currently present. <br />3. Large stockpiles of material are present in the excavated portion of the site. There is a highwall averaging 10 <br />feet in height with slopes of i :1 to vertical that is approximately 0.2 miles in length. Topsoil appears to be <br />stockpiled along the edges of the pit and along the western area of the excavated region. <br />4.
