The problems should be corrected by the dates given, or they will become possible violations. The possible violations should be corrected by the dates given to reduce their severity when considered by the Mined Land Reclamation Board. The inspector noted on the previous page should be notified of all wrrective actions taken. PROBLEMS/POSSIBLE VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTION DATE i. ~t appears the permitted operation has Veen inactive since 2000, although the status of the 09 / 20 /04 operation has been listed as active. It is unclear whether the operation is m compliance with Rule 1.13.5 regarding Temporary Cessation. PB or PV: ~B._ TOPIC(S): ~t3_ Corrective action: Complete one of the following actions on or before September 20, 2004: A) Begin - - - sustained mining and/or milling activities for at least 180 days or more per year, and notify the Division in writing of such activities; or B) File a Notice of Temporary Cessation in writing per Rules 1.13.5(1)&(2). (Please see attached mpy of Rules 1,13.5(1)&(2)). 2. There was at least 24 containers of standard milling reagents both within the Mill building and O9 / 20 /04 outside the Miil building. An accurate acrnunting of the Npe quantity, volume, and chemical composition of each milling reagent was unavai able at a Time of inspection. An accurate accounting of the type, quantity, volume, and chemical composition of each water treatment reagent was unknown at the time of inspection. Provide on or before September 20, 2004 an MSDS sheet for each milling reagent or water treatment reagent stored or available at either the Golden Gilpin Mill or Ratac.Hi mtar Mina water treatment plant
