Following is a complete description of the problem, a couple
of photographs that show the problem, and explanations as to why it occurred. They also wish
to propose a solution to the problem.
In brief, it appears there has been a small incursion of the mining into unpermitted land. This
primarily occurred as a result of a slope breaking back further than was expected.
Carl C. Herskind, President of Ttattsit Mix Concrete, wanted me to inform you of this
incursion. He discussed the matter with MLRB member James Cooley and Mr. Cooley
advised Mr. Herskind that the company should inform the Division of the problem.
Please review the enclosed materials and after your review, if you wish to discuss this matter
further please call me. Mr. Herskind desires that I handle this matter as much as possible for
Transit Mix.
Thank you.
Respec/tful~ly,
~G~'tf'r ~ ~~
Mazk A. Heffner
cc: Carl C.
