III. COMMENTS COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations <br />made during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during <br />the inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a partial inspection conducted by Kent Gorham of CDMG. The weather on <br />this day was warm and mild. The R~mrock Mine consists of approximately seven <br />acres of reclamation. <br />Signs and Markers <br />The entry sign has been damaged and is no longer legible. Please replace this <br />sign in accordance with the requirements of Rule 4.02. A smaller, more durable <br />sign is recommended, possibly one that can be attached to the metal gate at the <br />site. <br />Hydrologic Balance <br />The lone sediment pond was found dry. Extremely dry conditions have persisted at <br />this site for the last 6-8 weeks. The embankment appeared normal and the trickle <br />tube was clear of debris. No flow was noted in adjacent Engleville Gulch. <br />Reveqetation <br />No cattle were observed on the site or in the adjacent area during the inspection. <br />Overall, the site appeared in good condition going into the winter season. <br />3 <br />
