IV. Enforcement Actions
The following iaentifies entorcement actions taken during this inspection, the
required abatement and date of abatement for the violation, previous violations
still requiring abatement and the termination of violations cited during previous
inspections.
NOV C-93-022 was issued for failure to design, permit and maintain various
ditches and culverts along roads and facilities areas.
1) Ditch C-1, located just east of the
facilities bench, was excessively down-
cut In the lower reaches. This ditch
serves the facilities bench.
Downcutting from 2 to 3 feet were
noted (area labeled B on map). Just
west of this ditch, on the facilities
bench, water flowing down the 1.5 to
1 slope has eroded the embankment
through and around the rock placed
there. Some erosion was noted on the
facilities pad (area A on map). The
permit does not have designs for
dropping the water down the side of
this bench. Rule 4.04 requires that
support facilities be designed to
control erosion and Rule 4.05.5
requires that erosion be minimized.
