The <br />inspector noted on the previous page should be notified of all correctwe actions taken. <br />PROBLElvtS/POSSIBLE VIOLATIONS <br />AN D <br />CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />CORRECTION <br />DATE <br />The operator has failed to properly control a variety of noxious weeds as required by Rule 3.1.10(6) 6130 101 <br />of the Construction Materials Rules and ReQUlations of the tvlined Land Reclamation Board PB or PV: PB <br />Specifically, the noxious weeds whitetoo (Cardaria drabal and Canada thistle (Canadensis Arvensis) TOPIC(S): RV <br />were observed throuehout both the disturbed and reclaimed areas , <br />Corrective actions are to: <br />t. Submit a noxious weed control plan in the form of a TECHNICAL REVISION that includes the followine elements• <br />A. Identifies the tarzeted noxious weed species. In this case it must include whitetoo and Canada thistle at a minimum <br />B. The methods of control that will be employed to manaee these weeds (ie mowing sprayinz pulling Arazin¢ etc) <br />C. The treatment windows for control (ie: soravine with identified herbicide between April 3d'' and tune 15"' or mowing <br />prior to blooming, etc.) <br />D. Follow-uo monitoring and treatment options and dates for initial implementation <br />2. The operator failed to properly reveaetate portions of the reclaimed area in such a way as to develop a OS / 15 / 02 <br />diverse. effective and lone-lastinz ve¢etative cover capable of self-reeeneration without continued inputs PB or PV: PB <br />Specifically. there were several areas alone the easVnortheast side of the east reclaimed lake that were TOPIC(S): RS <br />devoid of desirable veeetation as described in the reclamation plan and topsoil stockpiles had not been RV TS <br />seeded with temoorarv seed mixes as required by Rules 3.1.10(1) and 3 1.9(1) <br />Corrective actions are to: <br />1. Re-seed the areas that have failed to develop (with the approved seed mixl durinz the next favorable <br />planting season, but definitely prior to a Mav t 5. 2002. <br />2. Seed all topsoil stockpiles that will not be replaced this year with the aooroved temoorarv seed mix <br />
