The Daugherty Pit is permitted for lees than 1 acre of disturbance. The site will be <br />reclaimed to agriculture/grazing. <br />2. The Daugherty Pit consists of a 10-12• excavation. The pit appeared to be inactive for <br />quite some time. According to annual reports, the pit ie used intermittently by the <br />operator. <br />3. The pit side elopes and floor area was badly eroded and will need to be stabilized. The <br />operator should regrade the aide slopes and floor to a stable elope and reseed either with <br />a temporary cover crop or the reclamation seed mix if mining in the pit is complete. All <br />erosion appeared to be contained within the permitted area. <br />4. The Daugherty Pit did not contain an entrance sign or permit area markers ae requited by <br />the Colorado Hine Land Reclamation Act.
