If the specific schedule for the OM Pit <br />is not submitted and followed as requested, be forewarned that this Office has every intention of <br />bringing the matter to the Board's attention. The fines can be up to $1000.00 (dollars) per day of <br />non-compliance. Concurrently, this Office will be monitoring reclamation efforts at all the above <br />mentioned sites to assure than revegetation and final closure can be achieved in as short a time as <br />possible. It is in the best interest of Mesa County and this Office to close the files on all these <br />sites. <br />This Office does not want to have an unpleasant relationship with Mesa County. In fact, this <br />Office will offer its assistance: in any way to help the County achieve closure of these sites.
