The sealing of the tailings impoundment using a bentonite curtain <br />has been completed and the dam is being recapped and compacted. <br />2. Flows through the dam seem to have been reduced. Water quality below <br />the dam has improved. <br />3. The waste rock dump near the portals is encroaching on the drainage <br />adjacent to it. The operator stated that the entire drainage will <br />eventually be used for waste rock disposal. A technical revision <br />or amendment to the permit is planned to describe the expanded use of <br />this drainage. <br />4.
