III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the inspection <br />and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was an aerial inspection flown by Harry Ranney of the Colorado Division of reclamation, Mining, <br />and Safety (Division). Oblique aerial photographs were taken on September, 25, 2007 and reviewed <br />in the office by Jason Musick of the Division on September 27, 2007. Photos taken are provided at <br />the end of the report. No problems were identified in the photographs. <br />Backfill and Grading <br />There were no visible signs of slope instability or excessive erosion. The reclaimed area south of <br />County Road 117 and the areas to the north of the road appeared to be in good condition. <br />Revegetation <br />The mine area appeared to exhibit good vegetation cover throughout. <br />Nothing identified through the aerial photographs warranting an immediate on-the-ground inspection <br />was noted. <br />
