e" <br />III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This aerial inspection was flown on November 8, 2000. Due to field inspections, the digital <br />images were not reviewed until November 20, 2000. The overflight was conducted by Harry <br />Ranney of the Colorado DMG. Joe Dudash reviewed the digital images. No compliance <br />problems were observed during the overflight. <br />Hvdroloev <br />There was a little water in pond I. Pond 2 appeared to be dry. The pond embankments appeared <br />to be stable, as did the pond inslopes. <br />No breaches of collection ditches were apparent. There were no signs of erosional gullying. <br />Facilities <br />There were sixteen railcars waiting for loading. At least 8 railcazs had already been loaded. No <br />railcars were blocking the public road. The coal stockpiles were not very large in volume. No <br />problems with fugitive dust were apparent. <br />Roads <br />All of the roads at the mine site appeared to be dry and passable. <br />To soil <br />There were no signs of gullying on the topsoil stockpiles.
