The comments include discussion of observations made <br />dunng the inspection Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken dunng the inspection <br />and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action <br />This was a partial inspection conducted by Kent Gorham and Sandy Brown of the Colorado <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (Division) This processing and loadout site has <br />been inacfroe since June 2001 after the closure of the Lorencito Mme (#C-96-084) <br />Ground conditions on this day were generally dry and the weather was warm and mild <br />Roads <br />The operator cleaned the two lower culverts along the RDA access road. Regrading of the <br />road surface should be done as soon as equipment returns to the site. <br />Hydrolog~c Balance <br />Pond 8 held water about 6 feet below the top of the pnmary user Pond 7 held water, <br />especially in the areas that were recently cleaned of sediment. Both containments at the <br />West Mine were noted as dry. <br /> <br />
