He also Indicated that the land he acgWred dtd not Include the entlre permit area. The operator Indicated a desire to revise the permit to <br />lacorporate a reduced permit azea size which includes only the curteally disturbed area of approxmately 23 acres. T'he revision would also change <br />the permit to a reclamatlen oWy permit where the operator would reclaim the "test pit" portlon of the operatlou aceordlag to the permitted <br />reclamatloo plan, and would leave approximately one acre of the operatlou uareclalmed but the operator would commit to use of the gravel Irom <br />this area on his land only. Gravel from this operatlaa would no longer be for Bale. <br />The operator was Isstructed to submit a techalcal revlsloa to the permit which Includes maps which cleazly show the desired permit boundary <br />(Includes all curtent disturbed areas the area to be reclaimed and the area to remain as a gravel source restricted for the operator's use on this <br />ranch oWy. The curtent permit calls for 10:1 elopes at final reclamatlon. The operator stated a desire to revise this to 3:1 elopes and change the <br />end land use to rangeland due to lack of water dghta for the eurteat cad land use at Irrigated pasture. The operator stated that he waWd Bke to <br />reclaim the test pit with 3:1 slopes, seed with a natlve grass seed mix, sad that he would contact the Colorado Division o[ Water Resources cancerWng <br />the pasalhltlty of leaving a stock tank at the bottom of the test pit which would hold water ror approximately four to six mouths out of the year. <br />The area directly south of the "teat pit" would remote 88 the gravel supply [er the ranch.
