(Page 2)
MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: ~-~aa~-~d~
INSPECTION DATE: n5/~7~na INSPECTOR=S INITIALS: KQP
OBSERVATIONS
1. This inspection was conducted as part of the Division of Minerals and Geology's monitoring program. Present
at the inspection were Carl Mount and Kate Pickford, DMG and Mark Steen, Operator. At the beginning of the
inspection, the following individuals were also present, but did not attend the inspection: George Heard, Tom
Kelley, and Terry Heard, Consolidated Global, and Jim Beck. Weather at the time of the inspection was clear,
breery, and approximately 50 degrees.
2. Mr. Steen provided the following information pertaining to the site. The original buildings located at the site
are going to be restored. The current shaft is 743 feet deep but is too small for production. Production at this
mine will involve over 100 feet of crosscut. The Who Do Mine still has an old prospecting permit affiliated with
the site. The new prospecting permits will cover the Who Do Mine as well as the Black Cloud permit. The adit
has groundwater inflow.
3. The entry at the Who Do consists of a culvert and this entry will be used in the cross-cut method to be
incorporated at the mine. The hoist building has collapsed and still contains original equipment. This building
will also be rebuilt and used during operations at the site.
4. The escape hole for the Cash Mine has some dry rot on the frame. Mr. Steen indicated that the frame would
be rebuilt to code. Mr. Steen stated that portions of the new prospecting permits may be amended into the
Cash Mine permit area. Costs for containment of water related to adits and cross-cuts upon closure will be
included in the bond calculation if the area is amended into the permit. The amended permit will allow for
transport of ore trucks outside of the town of Gold Hill, on a new road to four mile.
5. Current conditions at the site appear to comply with the rules and regulations and the parameters of the
permit.
I & E Contact Address
NAME: Mark Steen
OPERATOR: ITEC Environm .ntal Colorado.
