The bond fa this site has been forfeited and reclamation <br />was completed by DMG. fie weather was warm and clear and the ground was dry. <br />There has been little precipitation in the area since the lost inspection and, <br />consequently, there does not appear to be any additional erosion on Chen's Hlll a <br />the East Pit area. The overall vegetative cover appeared to be good and Is `~ <br />becoming green w(fh spring. Towards the upper end of the disturbed area several <br />hundred ponderosa pines are beginning to grow. These trees average from 3 -12" in <br />height. <br />We spent a considerable amount of flme inspecting the check dams on the East Side <br />of the access road and Byron Walker will be putting together a plan for the possible <br />remedlatbn of this and other erosional problems on the site. <br />
