Gonima of the
DRMS. No representative from Blue Jet Mining, Inc. was present during this inspection. The pit is located approximately 27
miles northwest of Craig, CO and currently consists of approximately 9.9 permitted acres where approximately 5 acres are
currently disturbed.
This inspector observed a range of debris on the mine site such as tires, metal, and empty 55 gallon drums (see photos 1 & 2).
If not being used for the active mine operation, all of this debris must be legally removed from the site on or before December
1, 2006 (see Problem No. 1 on pg. 3).
Mine entrance signs and permit boundary markers are all in place and well-marked. Otherwise all activities and completed
work at the time of inspection appeared to follow the guidelines and regulations set forth by the state and the mining and
reclamation plans for the pit, and no additional problems are noted for this site. The site is stable, there appears to be no offsite
erosion, and no additional disturbance was observed outside of the approved permit boundaries.
As a final note for future reference, this site is correctly positioned in the DMG online GIS.
Responses to this inspection report should be directed to Deb E. Gonima at the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety
Denver Office, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203, phone number 303-866-4179.
I & E Contact Address
NAME
OPERATOR
STREET
CITY/STATE/ZIP
Mr. Orvie Zimmerman
Blue Jet Mining, Inc.
P.O.
