The arm is cheracberimd by <br />sparse vegeta<im (some American vetch plains and sporadic slander wheatgrass). Extensive minor <br />(rivuld) eroaicoal feahaes haw developed M estimated 20'/• NY ems) of topsail (appoo®ately throe <br />inches ofgray-brown soil ova light, tan spoil) and deocmposed straw mulch has been coded from the <br />site. 7lris material is settling art aaoas the Batter auras (provionsly the coal stoc]:pile ernes).
