IfI. COMMENTS-COMPLIANCE <br />Below are commons on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made during the inspection. Commems also describe any <br />enforcement actions lakes during the inspection and the (acLS or endence supposing the enforcement anion. <br />This mine is in permanent cessation and reclamation. There is no ongoing reclamation work other than <br />control of weeds at the site. <br />Byron G. Walker prepared this aerial inspection report from three aerial photographs [65-01-10-11- <br />1(1)through 3(3)]. All three photographs are overviews of the site. Copies of these photographs aze on <br />file at the Division and were mailed to the Permittee. The photographs were taken by, and an oral <br />debriefing was obtained from, Mr. Harry Ranney, Environmental Protection Specialist of the Division. <br />Mr. Ranney stated that he saw no problems at the site. <br />ROADS All the roads (permanent) are visible best in Photograph 1. All appear to be in compliance. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE There is what appears to be a low level of water (all photographs) in the <br />west cell of the Sedimentation Pond. No erosional features are noted in the photographs. <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES The sedimentation pond appears to be in good repair (all photographs). The <br />Vulcan Ditch is visible in all the photographs. The Topsoil Pile 1 SAE ditch berm is visible in <br />Photograph 3. <br />TOPSOIL. The two remaining topsoil piles are clearly visible in Photographs 2 and 3. They appear to <br />be well stabilized. <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE See the introductory comments above. W ith the exception <br />of a sedimentation pond, drainage structures, and two topsoil stockpiles, required demolition, <br />backfilling and grading, and seeding has been accomplished. The reclamation is in compliance with the <br />genera] mine plan. <br />REVEGETATION The site is in that stage of reclamation where revegetated areas are developing to <br />meet final bond release standards (a Phase II Bond release of the area was approved September 28, <br />2001. <br />Page ~ of _4_ Pages, (date) _29 October 2001 (initials) ^z-~~ <br />
