OBSERVATIONS
1. A pre-operation inspection was conducted of the proposed 45-acre Camilletti Milner Pit #2.
The site is located in Routt County, approximately 0.5 miles southeast of Milner, Colorado.
Present during the inspection was Frank Camilletti, David Zehner, Kent Crofts, and Paul
Currier.
2. Permitting concerns/issues discussed include the following: informal conference, pre-
Hearing Conference, Formal Public Hearing, permit boundary and mining plan maps, maximum
disturbance expected, water diversions & sediment ponds, floodplain & floodway locations, pit
dewatering impacts, permanent man-made structures, adjacent wetlands & riparian vegetation,
well/groundwater users within 600 feet, local hydrology, location of Clark Ditch, possible
injury to well owners in Milner, possible impacts to groundwater, mitigation plan(s) for
surface & groundwater, pit groundwater inflow rates, impacts to wildlife, reclamation costs,
other permits/licenses, and haul road construction.
3. Photographs (slides) were taken of the site and are attached to this report.
4. No problems were noted during the inspection.
