Following completion of the new building, certain portions of the existing Ironclad wazehouse
office azea, the Ironclad security/dry building, and the engineering/geology building will be
demolished. Construction debris from this demolition will be placed in the construction debris
slot in the upper lift of the Squaw Gulch Overburden Storage Area.
A demolition cost estimate for the new Ironclad Dry/Engineering Office Building was prepazed
by Ellis Environmental Engineering and is attached to this request. Mr. Ellis' full estimate of
$36,364 was adjusted with the 22.5% state contingency to arrive at a demolition warranty
estimate of $44,546. This estimate assumes that demolition debris will be placed in the
construction debris slot of the Squaw Gulch Overburden Storage Area prior to final grading and
reclamation and that the building slab will be broken and covered in place as part of the pazking
lot reclamation.. This amount can be subtracted from the current CC&V voluntary surplus
warranty of $116,958, leaving $72,412 for CC&V future use. With the approval of TR-49,
CC&Vs total financial warranty for the Cresson Project stands at $44,681,459.
A check in the amount of $875.00 for this technical revision request is attached.
Please contact me at (719)-689-4056 should you have questions or wish to discuss this request
for to ical rev' ion.
ce ly,
azy Goo ~ch
an ger, nvironmental Resources
xc: Paul Clazkson
Director, Teller County Planning Department
Enclosed attachments
