Ditches through out site are in good condition. Ditch 5-Dl needs some material cleaned from ditch. Rancher <br />used access across this ditch and rail road track to access field to the south for weed control. <br />Suaaort Facilities: Portal No. 5 area is well graded. Facilities azea is clean and in good condition. Very few <br />debris remain at the SA portal azea. <br />Braze)-Simms building remains have been removed by a salvage operation. Some splintered wood material <br />remains, as well as several tires and other items stored within the building. The majority of the metal sheeting <br />has been removed. <br />Processine Waste: Both waste piles remain inactive. No. 9 Portal waste pile has had an exploration drill pad at <br />the SW corner. This pad has been graded back to the configuration of the waste pile.. No problems were noted <br />with either coal processing waste area. <br />General Mine Plan Comaliance: RN-04 remains under review pending resolution of updating Wildlife adequacy <br />concerns. . <br />Fish and Wildlife: ARed-tailed hawk was perching in a cottonwood tree adjacent to the HR-Pl pond. Mule <br />deer were noted throughout the Eastern side of the mine permit. <br />Reve etation: The operator has coordinated with one of the ranchers who utilizes the meadow portion of the <br />Mine 5 area. In coordination with the operator, the rancher has sprayed 2,4-D/Tordon in August 2006 for <br />management of Cnanda thistle Russian knapweed. BTU Empire has scheduled weed control of Tamazisk later <br />this month. <br />
