This inspection was conducted as part of the Division of Minerals and Geology's monitoring program. Present at the <br />inspection were Kate Pickford, DMG and Noble Underbrink, Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District. Weather at the <br />time of the inspection was partly cloudy, calm, and approximately 60 degrees. <br />2. A sign was posted at the entrance to the site and the boundaries were marked. Some of the disturbed area has been <br />reclaimed. The reclaimed area has slopes of 3:1 or less and good vegetation. According to Mr. Underbrink, explosives are <br />still used at the site. The only individuals using explosives at the site are employed by Grand County. Runoff at the site <br />appears to be contained within the permit boundaries. Noxious weeds were not present at the site. <br />3. All activities and completed work at the time of inspection appeared to be following the guidelines set forth in the mining <br />plan for the pit. All operations and conditions at the time of the inspection fall within regulations.
