The dragline has walked south to almost the final
East Pit cut and has almost finished its first cut in the wedge it is working on. Once it
completes this cut it will begin working its way back to the north.
Support Facilities: -The facilities area was wet and muddy but in good condition at
the time of the inspection. No problems were noted with the area. The operator has
removed much of the old equipment from behind the office and shop areas and has
regraded the area. They are in the process of upgrading the maintenance area in
the yard, including some lights and covered work areas. This area will be used to
park the equipment while it is being serviced and while it is waiting to be serviced.
- The Gossard Loadout was wet but appeared to be stable and in good condition at
the time of the inspection.
