Topsoil Topsoil has been spread in two distinct areas of the mine; Auger Area E and the lower <br />Wolf Creek Drainage. Topsoiled areas were surveyed with the GPS, and test holes were dug. <br />Maps depicting the topsoil hole locations will be forwarded at a later date. The following depths <br />were noted; <br />Auaer Are a E <br />9701-8" (holes 01-04 are on the south facing slope) <br />9702-9" <br />9703-10" <br />9704-8" <br />9705-15" (holes 05-09 are on the north facing slope) <br />9706-12" <br />9707-14" <br />9708-13" <br />9709-10" <br />Lower E1 Road Area <br />9710-10" <br />9711-10" <br />Haul Road F1 Area <br />9712-23" <br />9713-16" <br />9714-19" <br />9715-8" <br />9716-15" <br />9717-25" <br />9718-8" <br />9719-7" <br />Some topsoil has also been piled and distributed in the backfilled area above Pond 008. <br />Distribution of the topsoil in this area is not complete due to the wet ground conditons. <br />Revegetation The operator was activly planting shrub tublings in the Auger E reclaimed area <br />during the inspection. Serviceberry, chokecherry, woodrose, and gambles oak were being placed <br />on the north facing slopes and around the rock piles. A shrub plot has also been established <br />using mycrorrhizal fungi to study the effect on plant survival and growth. This area was <br />surveyed using the GPS. The reclaimed haul road F1 was being hand seeded during the <br />inspection. The operator needs to reseed the topsoil piles not completely used this fall (pile HHI. <br />
