No erosional problems were noted on the <br />piles. <br />-The topsoil piles below the loadout were well vegetated and appeared to be <br />stable at the time of the inspection. No erosional problems were noted on the piles. <br />- The subsoil piles by refuse piles RP-2/3/4 and 5a were all well vegetated and <br />appeared stable at the time of the inspection. No erosional problems were noted on <br />the piles. <br />Air Resource Protection: - As stated above, there was some fugitive dust at refuse pile <br />5a due to the spreading and compacting operations at the temporary stockpile. A <br />water truck needs to be kept at the site to keep it well watered to minimize fugitive <br />dust to the extent possible. There were no problems with fugitive dust on the haul <br />road or on any of the other dirt roads at the site during the inspection. <br />Overall the Deserado Mine is in good condition and appears to be conducting <br />operations as required by the Rules and the Permit. <br />
