There was a small amount
screened stockpiled material located along the South side of the permit area. The active face of the high
wall measured approximately 20 feet, it was stable. There is a power pole above the high wall, which
appeared to be with in 200 feet of the active face. Mr. Houchin sta a that the Power Company was
supposed to move it outside of the permit area but instead placec~~lo to where it was originally and that
he expects them to move it again soon. The reclaimed slopes along the West Side of the permit appeared
stable. Mr. Houchin was notified that if at any time he would like to change the slopes of the reclaimed area
from a 3:1 slopes to a steeper slopes, all he had to do was demonstrate to the Division that the steeper
slopes will be stable and submit the demonstration to the Division with the appropriate application. Permit
sign and boundary markers were properly displayed.
I & E Contact Address
NAME: CHARLES W.
