<br />III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE ~~ ~'~--g~'~~~ <br />~ \~ ~3 fl~~o / ~~ <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations <br />made during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during <br />the inspection and fhe (acts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was an aerial inspection of the GEC mine. All of the photographs were taken by <br />Harry Ranney of CDMG. The bond for this site has been forteited and reclamation <br />was completed by DMG. <br />The East Pit area appears to be well vegetated and in good condition and the <br />vegetation is beginning to turn green. The riprap placed in the top of the East Pit <br />drainage and in the two large gullies below the road appears to be stable. The road <br />through the East Pit also appears to be in good condition. <br />The West Pit area is also appears to be well vegetated and in good condition. As <br />with the East Pit, the vegetation in the West Pit is beginning to turn green. There have <br />been cattle grazing in the East and West Pit areas but none were seen in the <br />pictures. <br />Both the East and West Pit areas still show some signs of gullying but it does not <br />appear to be getting any worse. <br />No photographs of the Duck Pond, Orphan Pit, Tipple Area or Chen's Hill were taken <br />during this inspection. <br />
