(Page 3)
MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-1976-032
INSPECTION DATE 5/12/06
INSPECTOR'S INITIALS RCO
The topsoil stockpile area at the west end of the permit appears to contain a sufficient volume to adequately topsoil all
disturbed areas, as required in the approved reclamation plan. The operator must care for this resource, by ensuring that it
remains onsite in sufficient quantity, is not deteriorated by erosion or weed infestation, or impacted by mining activities.
There are several areas of the permit designated as storage areas for concrete, stone, debris, wood, parts, etc. There is a
significant amount of these various materials, though some are onsite only temporarily. This is not a problem, since some of
these materials are used in the operator's construction operations, and this site processes only imported materials, but the
bond amount must reflect the cost of removing and disposing of the debris materials. The upcoming bond calculation will
reflect it.
The bond amount is $50,000, including increases for the technical revisions in the 1990s. The bond is due for review this year
and the new figures will be sent to the operator. An increase is expected, due to recent increases in fuel, labor rates and
equipment rental rates. If an increase is indicated in the recalculation, the operator will have 60 days to submit it.
No further items were observed during the inspection. Responses to this inspection report should be directed to the Division of
Minerals and Geology, 701 Camino del Rio, Room 125, Durango, Colorado 81301, Attn: Bob Oswald; phone no.970-247-5193.
I & E Contact Address
NAME
OPERATOR
STREET
CITY/STATE/ZIP
Greo Homan
Telluride Gravel
PO Drawer U
Cortez.
