III. COMMENTS -COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the inspection. The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection. Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />On June 27, 1994 the Division conducted a Complete inspection of the Bourg <br />Strip Mine. At the time of the inspection the weather was clear and hot. The soil <br />was moist at a depth of 2 inches from recent thunderstorms during this week. <br />Areas 13 miles north of Kremling have received above 3 inches of rain in a 24 <br />hour period. The previous weeks were very dry. There was no evidence of runoff <br />from this site. <br />No erosion was noted. The permanent gully was stable. <br />Records were checked at the Jackson County courthouse. <br />
