ORIGINAL -PUBLIC FILE (Page 2) MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: A~480-add INSPECTION DATE: ~/77/1l7 INSPEC70ROS INITIALS: ~- OBSERVATIONS The Division conducted a bi-monthly inspection of the site on ~d'$~p~ The main purpose of the inspection was to collect a split sample from POND 4A, prior to CC&C submitting a pad decommissioning request for pads the old Iron Clad/Globe Hill pads. Present during the sample collection was Lawrence Meyers of CC&V. A Split sample for Metals sulfate and wad cyanide were collected. Samples delivered to CDOK&E lab the next day. ALL SAMPLES W$RE KBPT IN A COOLER WITH ICE PRIOR TO DBLIVBRING TO CDOH6S LAB. After the sample collection, with Mark Vanoni OF CC&v, present, the valley Leach facility was inspected. Along the access road to Phase IV low volume solution collection a discussion was held about having that area re-surveyed again to make sure it is not a low area that could cause some future erosion problems along the anchor trench. Mark said he will request the area to be surveyed once he gets a chance to look at the as built drawings. Inspected the Phase i, II, II&IV Leach pad areas and collected the following readings from the High and Low Volume Solution Collection Transducers. Phase I High Volume Solution Collection Transducer #1 was recorded at 7.0 (read out meter still not functioning) #2 was at 39.2 and # 3 was at 39.4. Piezometer for the pond was at 43.5 feet. Low Volume solution collection transducer #1 was recorded at .23 and # 2 was at 0.58. Phase IZ &IiZ High Volume solution Collection transducer # 4 was recorded at 14.2 # 5 was aC 13.6 and # 6 was at 14.5. Piezometer for the pond was at 29.1 feet. Low volume transducer # 1 was at.03 and #2 was at.63. Piezometer for the pond was at 28.7 feet Phase ZV High Volume Solution Collection Transducer # 7 was recorded at 14.0, #8 was at 15.0, #9 was at 15.5 and # 10 was at 19.9. Low Volume Cransducer # 1 was at 11.3 and # 2 was at 8.3 inches of hydrostatic head. Inspected the External pond, it was holding a small amount of what appeared to be partially frozen water .Low volume Solution Collection transducer # 1 for the pond was recorded at 11.7 and # 2 was at 12.9 inches of hydro static head. Inspected the under drain area, both the south and 4 inch pipes were discharging ak lower cfs than was observed during the last inspection. The north under drain and solid 24 inch pipes were dry. All lower ponds were holding about the same amount of what appeared to be frozen water covered with snow as was noted during last inspection.
