COMMENTS - COMPLIANCE <br />Below are comments on the Inspection The comments include discussion of observations made <br />during the inspection Comments also describe any enforcement actions taken during the <br />Inspection and the facts or evidence supporting the enforcement action. <br />This was a partial Inspection conducted by Tom Kaldenbach of the Colorado Division of <br />Minerals and Geology. No one else was present. The ground was covered with approximately 2 <br />feet of snow. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE <br />The pond was covered with snow, but appeared to not contain water. Ice cover has melted <br />from Trout Creek. <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES <br />No problems were apparent to the facilities yard area. <br />SLIDES AND DAMAGE <br />Snow has largely melted from the portal bench. No new rockfalls are evident on the portal <br />bench. No new movement is apparent in the small sediment debris flow reported in March <br />1998 above the portal bench. <br />SMALL AREA EXEMPTION <br />What appeared to be snowmobile tracks were next to the channel on the office SAE backfill <br />slope. <br />Page 3 <br />
