The bond fa this site has
been forfeited and reclamation was completed by DMG. The weather was warm
and cloudy and the ground was dry.
The portal area is in good shape and appears to be well vegetated. The dominant
species still appears to be rabbit brush. All of the vegetation Is becoming green with
the warm spring weather. There was no water In the sedimentation pond. The old
highwdll sflll appears to be stable. There did not appear to be any erosional
problems at the mine site.
The old coal roles/flpple aea was also In good shape. It seems to be well
vegetated and there has been a good deal of livestock "traffic" (although none of it
appeared to be recent). The sedimentation pond was dry. There did not appear to
be any erosional problems at the sales/tipple area.
~~V ~'
